Secure Escrow Payments
Your payment is held securely until the lesson is completed. If anything goes wrong, you have 48 hours to raise a dispute and get a refund.
Transparent Reviews
Every completed lesson generates a review opportunity. Ratings are genuine and cannot be removed by tutors - giving you honest feedback from real families.
Background Checks
We verify identity documents against government databases and require a valid police clearance certificate from all tutors before they can accept bookings.
Dispute Resolution
If a lesson doesn't meet expectations, our dedicated team reviews the case impartially. Funds are held until resolution, protecting both parents and tutors.
Data Protection
All personal data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We comply with Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019 and never share your information with third parties.
How Tutor Verification Works
Application
Tutor creates a profile with their qualifications, subjects, and teaching experience.
Document Submission
Tutor uploads their National ID, academic certificates, and a valid police clearance certificate.
Manual Review
Our team verifies each document against government databases and checks for consistency.
Approval or Rejection
Approved tutors receive a verified badge. Rejected applications receive detailed feedback on what's needed.
Ongoing Monitoring
We continuously monitor reviews, dispute rates, and behaviour to maintain platform quality.
